Bedrooms sit across the main house, each with its own proportions, outlook and small collection of furniture. The feeling is considered, never over-designed.

Six garden-level bedrooms opening onto a shared stone terrace.

MORNING AT AVENHALL

Breakfast has no finish time.

Coffee appears before anyone asks for it. Newspapers gather at one end of the table and stories from the night before take their time.
